About the Program

The study program places a significant emphasis on contemporary methods of data processing, particularly through the utilization of computer visualization procedures. This encompasses a comprehensive exploration of geometric structures, with a specific focus on their application in computer geometry and the in-depth study of graphics algorithms. The program aims to provide students with a thorough understanding of the intersection between data processing and visual representation, fostering expertise in the intricate realm of computer graphics and geometry.

Knowledge that Gratuate aquires

The graduate of the Computer Graphics and Geometry study program possesses a profound understanding of the studied theories, methods, and procedures in mathematics and computer science. This expertise enables them to independently and creatively apply and advance these principles. Building on this foundation, they can proficiently devise and enhance methods and computational procedures for crafting and analyzing mathematical and, notably, geometric models and simulations across diverse contexts. This preparation equips the graduate to engage professionally in developing extensive software products for various graphic applications, conduct research in both fundamental and applied research institutions, serve as an assistant in mathematics teaching at different universities, particularly in geometric and graphic disciplines, and pursue advanced studies at the third level of higher education in the study field of Geometry and Topology or related fields, especially in Informatics.

Study Plan

Where You Can Work after Graduation

Professions aligned with the acquired qualification include the role of a programmer-analyst in various social sectors, particularly those extensively utilizing computer graphics, especially interactive applications. Profound knowledge of creating realistic images and animations is crucial for positions in cinematography, advertising, the entertainment industry (such as computer games), and the development of graphically intricate websites.

Additionally, the qualification prepares individuals for research and development roles in domains where complex applications of geometry and computer graphics are significant. Research avenues include modeling planar and spatial objects in diverse fields such as clothing, footwear, and engineering. Furthermore, it involves the reconstruction of three-dimensional objects from two-dimensional images, the reconstruction of three-dimensional objects from discrete data (applicable in medicine, cartography, and beyond), visualization of complex, particularly multidimensional data, and the digitization and virtual preservation of cultural heritage.

Double Degree Opportunitie

While this Program does not offer a formal double degree, students have the exciting opportunity to gain international study experience through programs like Erasmus+ and other global partnerships. With the chance to spend one or more semesters abroad, students can immerse themselves in diverse academic environments and potentially receive scholarships to partially cover associated costs. It's a unique chance for valuable international exposure, even though it doesn't result in obtaining a second degree, as is the case with formal Double Degree programs.
